Preparing for university

So you’ve got your place, booked your accommodation and even started think about starting your new life as an undergraduate. What next?

To be honest, I think the best preparation is to relax. Most students have had a really stressful time getting themselves qualified, visiting different universities, working out which course to study, which seems the best place to go. And then the waiting for results… So it’s been a stressful time.

My advice is – make sure you are rested before you come. Take time out. Travel if you want to. Put the books to one side for a few weeks. Exercise – play sport, run, jump, dance.. whatever makes you happy. The work will start soon enough and you will need to be ready for it.

So. The easiest advice I have ever given in these blogs! The work starts soon enough.
